High Speed Gear's X2R/P TACO® Modular Double Rifle and Single Pistol Mag Pouch
The X2RP TACO® combines two modular rifle mag pouches and a modular pistol mag pouch into one secure unit and can securely hold an infinite combination of mags and other accessories. Two original Tacos® form the base holding USGI, HK, PMAG, ARC, FAL, AK 30/ 40, LR20 and M14 magazines securely and deploying easily and silently on demand. On top, we attached a Pistol Taco®. This versatile pouch will hold almost any pistol magazine. Single stack, double stack; it makes no difference. 1911, HK 45, M9/Beretta 92, Glock, XD mags are all held securely. The Pistol Taco® can also hold a variety of multi-tools and flashlights.
All pouches are made of Cordura, an injection molded polymer and shock-cord. The pouches both maintain a positive, adjustable grip of the mag and do not require any other securing systems unless desired. Webbing tabs are sewn in on the top for use of "over the top" bungee retainers (not included). Additional loop Velcro® is sewn in the inside of the rifle pouch if the user wishes to utilize adhesive backed hook Velcro on his magazine body for added security.

Like the original Taco®, the X2R will handle any type of rifle magazines thrown at it, but the double decker design allows the user to carry 2 mags in a single pouch that takes up only 3” of horizontal space on your platform.

Spartan Armor Systems® strives to afford their customers and operators in the field with the highest quality body armor and every advantage possible. Spartan Armor Systems® Spall Containment Sleeves provide an extra layer of protection from fragmentation (spalling) and a high degree of confidence when wearing our Base Coat or Full Coat Spartan™ Omega™ AR500 and AR550 Steel Core body armor plates. These spall containment sleeves will reduce or potentially eliminate spalling as projectiles ricochet off the AR Plate, effectively containing such fragments within layers of Aramid Fibers and the rugged 1000D Cordura Ballistic Nylon Casing.
Added Shielding
Spalling is a reality of steel core plates that do not have a means of mitigation such as our Encapsaloc™ fragmentation mitigation coating. It’s the nature of high-velocity ballistic impacts and it is unavoidable. However, it is possible to add spall mitigation to base coat plates after the fact, or even increase the level of mitigation for full coat plates. The Spartan Armor Systems® Spall Containment Sleeve effectively helps shield the operator against spalling and fragmentation in an engagement by capturing the small projectiles within the highly flexible and durable ballistic nylon casing composed of 1000D Cordura fabric. Boiled down, the Spartan Armor Systems® Spall Containment Sleeve is another level of shielding and protection you can opt to carry into battle without adding any noticeable weight to your loadout.

Spartan Armor Systems® Non-Ballistic Trauma Pads utilize extremely light micro-cellular urethane foam padding that significantly decreases backface deformation and dissipates the impact energy sustained on your plate armor, reducing the transmitted force to the operator’s body. Additionally, our trauma pads dramatically increase comfort and ergonomics while wearing body armor. Simply put, the Spartan Armor Systems® Trauma Pad will drastically reduce blunt force trauma by absorbing energy over the increased surface area of the pad.
Increasing Comfort While Decreasing Trauma
Backface deformation has the potential to occur when a round impacts any type of body armor. This energy transfer has the potential to be felt regardless of which advanced Spartan Armor Systems® body armor ballistic panel you decide to protect yourself with. In minor cases, the result is bruising around the area of impact. However, in more severe cases backface deformation can result in serious bruising, skin puncture, internal bleeding, and even broken bones. Though most of our body armor has inherently good energy disbursing properties throughout the strike face, our advanced Trauma Pads will further mitigate energy transfer and back face deformation hazards which your body may absorb. Here’s what you’ll need to source…
(5) pieces of 1.5″x.25″ angle iron for arms. Recommend approximately 22″ in length
(1) piece of 1.5″x.25″ angle iron for post assembly. Recommend approximately 46″ in length
You will have to fabricate your own base with miscellaneous materials, or you can purchase our optional MPB.
We recommend using 46" angle iron for his target.
*** Please note. Due to the design theory of the Texas Star, you may have to use sand bags on top of the MPB. The uneven weight distribution makes the target spin unbalanced, causing slight “drift”. If you decide to make your own target base, you can certainly create a more robust design for added stability.

We have added a regular 66% IPSC target for use with our patent-pending Multi-Purpose Base (MPB).So, if you have a MPB and you already own a reactive target system, this 66% IPSC target can be used and slid right in to the “throat” (the piece that holds your reactive target to the angle iron). If you don’t already have an MPB, please select “Add MPB and Throat” and we’ll ship everything out that you’ll need.We have angle iron as an option (in Replacements and Add Ons), but I suggest NOT buying it. The angle iron literally costs us about $7/piece, which is what you can source it locally for. The shipping is the killer, which is why we have to charge so much. You MUST use 1.5″ x .25 American-spec (standard type) angle iron. Available at most home improvement stores or any steel yard.This target is sure to provide hours of fun.
